To create an attractive ground cover, we recommend spring or autumn planting. Allow up to 9 feet per square metre, and favour sunny locations with some shade. We recommend using a mixture of potting soil and garden soil to help the plant develop properly. Compacted, heavy soils should be avoided, as they tend to retain soil moisture. Although Canada fleabane does not like humidity, regular watering is recommended after planting. This simple operation helps the root system to take root in the soil. Faded flowers should be systematically removed to encourage new flowering. In early spring, it&#8217;s a good idea to cut back the clump. This shortening stimulates the plant&#8217;s development and favors the next bloom. Canada fleabane seeds are very easy to fly away. If you&#8217;re not careful, the plant can quickly become invasive. Canada fleabane is also a hardy plant. It also contains gallic acid, minerals and tannins. These active ingredients act synergistically to promote renal elimination of water and uric acid. In fact, tannins stimulate the healing process. They are also effective in relieving intestinal and gynecological disorders, including diarrhea.
