The manufacture of cold soaps consists of combining sodium hydroxide oils and detergent, causing a chemical reaction known as saponification. Throughout this process, the craftsman is able to choose the oils, perfumes, colours and all the other ingredients that will enter the soap - harmless ingredients that are good for the skin.
Hand-made soaps consist of ingredients of better quality than commercially manufactured soaps.
