If the eucalyptus citriodora bears this name, it is because it has a characteristic smell, which reminds us of the lemon or even peppermint when the leaves are mixed. These are quite large, up to about fifteen centimetres long, and the tree itself is rather imposing. Most of this is found in tropical and temperate areas, South America, China and eastern Australia. The tree is provided with leaves during the austral summer, from October to January, its period of preference for blooming and taking its characteristic green shade.
