Passiflore

Passiflora or the flower of passion is a perennial and climbing plant native to Latin America and more precisely Mexico. She recognizes her spectacular flowers, which were once used by Jesuit missionaries to represent the Passion of Christ. Solitary and fragrant, the flower of the passivelore has 5 white petals and 5 green sepals. It is decorated with a double filamentous crown white and purple or pink. Each flower measures 4-5 cm on average. With a woody stem of up to 9 m long, the passivelore produces edible fruits whose taste varies according to the species.
