Queen of the meadows (Ulmar)
Known under the scientific name Filipendula ulmaria, the queen of the meadows or Ulmaria is a perennial and herbaceous plant of the rosaceae family. It is native to Europe, but also grows in Western Asia and North America. This plant is particularly common on the national territory, except in the Mediterranean region. Large, the meadow queen has a reddish canned stem that is usually between 60 cm and 2 m high. Regrouped in a cluster, its flowers are white and have a very pleasant fragrance. It has large downy leaves and produces helix-wrapped fruit.
