FERMER
The salicary or Lythrum salicaria is a perennial plant in the lythrace family. It is widespread in Europe, particularly in France, but is also found in Asia and America. It grows wild at the edge of ponds, in ditches or in wet meadows. It can also be cultivated in the gardens in a humid environment. The salicary can reach a height of up to 1.5 m and has several robust and angular stems. Measuring on average 4 to 10 cm, its leaves are deciduous, sessile, lanceolate and have orange red colour in autumn. Its flowers are purple pink and take the shape of an elongated ear. Also called "herb to colic", salicary is very popular in herbal medicine.
