Red clover

Known under several names including the meadow clover, the red clover or Trifolium pratense is a perennial herbaceous plant of the fabiaceae family. Originally from Europe and North America, red clover grows in the wild in grasslands and wet pastures. As high as 50 cm, it recognizes its alternate leaves arranged in three oval leaflets. The leaves of red clover have a white crescent-shaped spot on their wreath. Their flowers have a purple red colour at the top and whitish at the base.
