Valerian
Valerian or Valeriana officinalis L. is a perennial herb of the Valerianaceae family. It is native to Europe and temperate Asia, but now grows in North America, England, Belgium and France. Measuring between 50 cm and 1.5 m, the valerian has a rather robust stem, pubescent in the nudity and a little rowing at the top. Opposed, its leaves are pinnate and have up to ten pairs of oblong leaflets. Valerian flowers are hermaphrodite, briefly peeled and may be white or pink. Its fruits are glabrous and surmounted by a feathery grove.
