Verveine
Known under several names including Veine de Venus, Verveine or Verbena officinalis is a perennial herbaceous plant of the family Verbenacées. It grows in many parts of the world and is widespread in North Africa, Asia and Europe. The annual plant averages between 25 cm and 75 cm and has hairy, erect and branched stems. Semi-persistent, its leaves are thin, oblong and cut into serrated lobes. It blooms from June to October and gives small bluish or lilac flowers that appear in long filiform ears. Its fruits are oblong in shape and split into 4 carpels.
