Ivy
Ivy is a species of climbing or creeping liana in the Araliaceae family. Invasive, this liana clings to its supports via terribly effective crampon roots. Ivy is characterized by persistent leaves whose appearance changes according to their solar exposure. In the sun, for example, these leaves appear elongated and lanceolate. In the shadows, however, they seem more tedious and tough. With 3 to 5 triangular lobes, the branches are sterile in the shade and fertile in the sun. The fertile branches are finished with greenish yellow flowers delicately arranged in umbels. In winter, ivy produces black bluish globose berries with spongy consistency.
