Scented rose (Flavouredcore, Calamus)

Known as Acorus Calamus, the fragrant or fragrant reed is a perennial herbaceous plant in the Araceae family. Originally from Asia, it currently grows throughout the Northern Hemisphere. It is found mainly on the edge of ponds and marshes and near streams and banks of dormant waters. The smelly reed has tufts of enraging leaves at the base that can reach up to a metre high. It has a creeping rhizome of the size of a finger that is harvested at the end of the summer season for phyto-therapeutic purposes. It gives brownish flowers joined by an ear.
