A perennial plant of the Fabaceae family, goat's milkweed can reach 1.2 metres in height.Its leaves are composed of 9 to 17 elongated leaflets, and its bluish flowers are grouped in axillary clusters.It grows in damp meadows and ditches in central and southern Europe.
