Botanique
Tilia platyphyllos-cordata, or white linden, is a large tree growing in the temperate forests of Europe. The sapwood is collected mainly in spring, when sap rises, to ensure optimal concentration of active ingredients.

Lentil sapwood, an internal part of the bark, is traditionally used in herbal medicine for its depurative and draining properties. Since the 19th century, it has been valued for its effectiveness in supporting liver and kidney function.
