The charcoal stick is to be put in a glass bottle or possibly in a stainless steel gourd. Glass and stainless steel are two neutral substances that do not induce migration of chemical substances from the container to its contents. In other words, run away from plastic!
This piece allows to filter a litre of water after 8 hours of contact. It is preferable to replace the water after two days, if it has not been drunk. It can be used for 3 months, then it needs to be reactivated. To do this simply boil it in water for 15 minutes, so you can use it for another three months.
After 6 months, it can be recycled by deodorant, cat litter or moisture regulator.
