Internal use: 1 mL/day.
It is recommended to take St John's wort preparations with meals to avoid gastric problems.
Secondary external use: for massages and cataplasms
In particular:
-when taking st john' s wort treatment, doses should be gradually reduced and should not be stopped suddenly.
-do not use in: pregnant or nursing women, children under 12 years of age, people with bipolar disorders, people with fertility problems, attention deficit, people with schizophrenia or Alzheimer's disease
-it is contraindicated to sunrise during treatment with st john's wort, as the hypericin has a photosensitising effect.
-it is not advisable to consume st. john's wort at the same time as ginkgo, valerian, lubepine, passivelore.
-St John's wort must not, without medical advice, be consumed with dietary supplements such as 5-HT or SAM-e. This list is not exhaustive.
-st john's wort should not be used together with an oral contraceptive or contraceptive patch.
-It is strongly not recommended for concomitant use of antivitamin K medicines, ciclosporin, when treating HIV, digoxin, theophylline, carbamazepine, phenytoin, and triptan family anti-migrants.
