Pissenlit

Also known as tooth-de-lion, dandelion or Taraxacum officinale is a perennial plant of the asteraceae family. It grows all over the world and is very common in metropolitan France. It is found mainly in relatively humid and nutrient-rich grasslands. With a height of 5 to 50 cm, it has a hollow stem and a pivot root, fleshy that is sipped with a milky white latex. Its inflorescence is a flat yellow capitule with ligulate florets. The flowers have 5 petals welded together and form a belt strap-shaped tab.
