Pollen
Pollen, harvested by bees, is made up of microscopic grains released by flowering plants to allow their reproduction. It measures on average between 20 and 55 micrometers and has a more or less ovoid shape. Pollen is produced by the stamen which is the male reproductive organ of the flower. It is therefore the male gametophyte of the seed plants. It is later deposited by insects or wind on the pistil which is the female reproductive organ of the flower. Pollen is now considered a superfood.
