Black tea

Black tea is a tea prepared from dried leaves of Camellia sinensis, the tea tree. Originally from China, this plant is also used for the production of green tea. Black tea is currently the most consumed tea in France, but also in England. It is especially appreciated for its stronger taste and high content of theine and caffeine. To get this type of tea, the tea leaves are picked and then dried. They are then rolled and fermented to change their color and release their aroma. Black tea can be sold as is or perfumed with dried fruits or essential oils.
